Hotel Director of Sales & Marketing

Seeking an experienced and results driven Hotel Director of Sales & Marketing to lead revenue generation and brand positioning efforts for a well established hotel property. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales and marketing initiatives to drive profitability and market share.

• Development and execution of sales strategies, including corporate, group, and leisure business, while building and maintaining relationships with key accounts, travel partners, and local organizations.
• Daily activities include setting sales targets, managing the sales pipeline, conducting prospecting and site visits, preparing proposals and contracts, and monitoring performance against budget and brand standards.
• The Director collaborates closely with operations, revenue management, and food & beverage teams to align pricing, promotions, and guest experience with overall business goals.
• This position also leads and coaches the sales and marketing team, manages digital and traditional marketing campaigns, and ensures consistent brand messaging across all channels.

• Demonstrated proficiency in sales and marketing, including experience developing and executing hotel sales strategies and promotional campaigns.
• Strong sales and revenue management skills, with the ability to forecast, analyze performance, and optimize profitability.
• Develop and execute hotel sales strategies to increase Occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and overall revenue.
• Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities, including corporate accounts, extended-stay business, group bookings, local negotiated accounts, and other demand generators.
• Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, key market contacts, and community organizations.
• Conduct outside sales calls, site tours, client meetings, and follow-up communications.
• Respond to sales inquiries, RFP's, and group requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Previous leadership experience in hotel or hospitality sales and marketing; multi-brand or franchise hotel experience is highly beneficial.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with corporate clients, groups, and community partners.
• Strong analytical and organizational abilities, with competency in CRM systems, sales reporting tools, and Microsoft Office or similar software.
• Ability to work on-site in Ramsey, MN, with flexibility for occasional travel, events, and client meetings.
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Hilton hotel/sales experience a plus.
• One year of hotel sales experience required.
