This is a university year appointment and will be at the level of Associate Professor, with tenure.Responsibilities*The successful candidate will teach upper-level screenwriting courses and electives, direct the Screenwriting Program, maintain an active record of writing and production, and contribute to the self-governance of the Department and the College.Required Qualifications*MFA or equivalentStrong record of produced and optioned workExtensive teaching experience at a major universityEvidence of leadership experienceDemonstrated commitment to program building/fundraisingModes of WorkPositions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department.
