Job Description As a Security Officer Access Control Specialist in Fairless Hills, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.01 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon12:00 AM - 08:00 AMTue12:00 AM - 08:00 AMWed12:00 AM - 08:00 AMThur12:00 AM - 08:00 AMSun12:00 AM - 08:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Monitor access points at a logistics and distribution location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and directing authorized individuals to designated areas. Control vehicle, trailer, and pedestrian access in accordance with site requirements, reporting unauthorized access attempts and irregular conditions to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and communicating with Allied Universal leadership as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, loading zones, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
