ABA Behavior Technician

Overview Job Title: Behavior Technician (BT) Location: Bergen County Schedule: Hourly Work Location: Job Summary: We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Behavior Technicians (BTs) to join our growing team. In this role, you will provide personalized training, support, and care to individuals with developmental disabilities in a nurturing and collaborative environment. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about making a meaningful impact on the lives of others and who thrive in a team-oriented setting. Responsibilities Provide direct support and behavior intervention services to individuals with Intellectual and developmental disabilities Implement individualized behavior support plans under the supervision of a BCBA Support clients in developing skills in communication, self-help, socialization, and daily living Record data on client progress and behavior throughout each session Work collaboratively with other professionals and family members Maintain a safe and supportive environment Maintain organized documentation Follow established protocols, including safety, confidentiality, and reporting procedures Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old Experience or education in Human Services, developmental disabilities, psychology, or a related field is preferred Experience working with individuals with autism and/or behavioral challenges is highly preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Patience, empathy, and compassionate demeanor Ability to work effectively as part of a team Must have current First Aid and CPR certification (required) Must pass fingerprinting/background checks Compensation Pay Range: $25.00 – $50.00 per hour (commensurate with experience and credentials) If you’re looking to make a positive difference in the lives of others while working in a supportive and rewarding environment, we encourage you to apply! #J-18808-Ljbffr Spectrumsupport
