Personal Care Specialist (STNA/CNA) – Millersburg, OhioPosition Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Personal Care Specialist (STNA/CNA) to provide in-home support to patients in Millersburg and surrounding communities.

This is a  full-time, driving position with a 40-hour workweek. The typical schedule is 8:00 AM–4:30 PM , with weekend and holiday coverage approximately every 5–7 weeks.

Responsibilities

As a Personal Care Specialist, you will provide hands-on care and support while respecting each patient's dignity, comfort, and individual needs. You will also work closely with patients, families, and members of the care team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting patients with personal care and daily living needs.
• Providing compassionate support to patients and their families.
• Observing and reporting changes in a patient's condition.
• Accurately documenting care and services in electronic medical records.
• Communicating with the care team and contributing information based on your interactions with patients.
• Following established care plans, safety procedures, and organizational standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Certified Nurse Aide (CNA/STNA) credential preferred; qualified candidates may receive training.
• Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse Aide (CHPNA) certification preferred.
• Ohio's Hospice provides professional development opportunities for eligible employees, including support toward applicable certifications.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to accurately document patient care electronically.
• Valid Ohio driver's license, a safe driving record, and proof of automobile insurance.
• Ability to complete required employment screening, including a criminal background check and 10-panel drug screening.
