Role Description The Lead Management & Customer Communication Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Montville, NJ. This role focuses on managing incoming leads, tracking their status, and ensuring timely follow-up via phone, email, messaging platforms, and in-person interactions. The specialist will maintain and update lead and customer records in CRM or internal systems, coordinate appointment scheduling, and support the sales and design teams with accurate, up-to-date information. Daily responsibilities include responding to customer inquiries, clarifying service offerings, providing basic product and process information, and setting clear expectations about timelines and next steps. This role also involves preparing communication templates, gathering customer feedback, identifying opportunities to improve the customer journey, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure a smooth experience from initial contact through project completion. Qualifications Lead management and CRM skills, including organizing prospects, tracking follow-ups, and maintaining accurate customer records. Customer service and communication skills, such as active listening, clear verbal and written communication, and professional phone and email etiquette. Basic sales support skills, including qualifying leads, coordinating appointments, and assisting with follow-up on proposals or estimates. Administrative and organizational skills, including scheduling, data entry, documentation, and time management. Ability to work on-site in Montville, NJ, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and adapt to a dynamic, customer-facing environment. Comfort with using office software and online tools (e.g., spreadsheets, email platforms, calendars; CRM experience is a plus). Previous experience in customer-facing roles; experience in home improvement, cabinetry, or interior design industries is an advantage.
