Computer Aided Design (CAD) Responsibilities Provides computer-aided design (CAD) drafting, prepares drawings and schematics derived from a variety of specifications, layouts, vendor data, and sketches. Coordinates and consults with engineers or other designers to complete projects, ensuring adherence to established specifications and standards. Supports equipment sizing & selection, alternative analyses, and other deliverables. Supports the engineering, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning of facilities. Presents design deliverables to project members, cross‑functional teams, senior leadership, external vendors, clients, and other stakeholders. Plans, forecasts and actualizes deliverable progress to support project reporting and schedule requirements. Identifies scope changes and estimates impact to effort and schedule. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Prepares, reviews, and approves mechanical equipment and piping BOMs and designs. Qualifications Bachelor’s or associate degree or equivalent preferred. Four to Seven (4‑7) years of relevant experience. Experience with AutoCAD Vault preferred. Excellent facilitation, communication, and analytical skills – written and verbal. High level of personal integrity. Strong relationship capabilities. Proficient in both written and spoken.
