Memory Care CoordinatorInlet Coastal Resort is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and highly dependable Memory Care Coordinator to help lead our memory care program.This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for supporting residents, guiding care staff, communicating with families, and helping ensure that each resident receives consistent, person-centered dementia care. The ideal candidate understands that a successful memory care program depends on strong relationships, careful observation, reliable follow-through, and a team that feels supported and accountable.QualificationsAt least 3–5 years of experience in memory care, assisted living, long-term care, or a related senior-care settingPrevious supervisory or care-coordination experience preferredDementia-care certification strongly preferredThorough understanding of Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementiaExperience with person-centered care, behavior support, and dementia-specific communication techniquesStrong leadership, organizational, documentation, and problem-solving skillsAbility to communicate professionally with residents, families, providers, and team membersDependable transportation and a record of punctual, consistent attendanceAbility to meet the physical requirements of the positionResponsibilitiesCoordinate the daily operation of the memory care programHelp develop, review, and update individualized resident care plansMonitor residents for changes in condition, behavior, abilities, or care needsCommunicate resident updates and concerns to families, providers, nurses, and leadershipSupport residents experiencing confusion, anxiety, agitation, or other dementia-related behaviorsModel appropriate redirection, communication, and person-centered care techniquesProvide hands-on support to residents and care staff as neededSupervise, coach, and support caregivers, CNAs, and medication techniciansAssist with staff orientation, dementia-care education, and ongoing trainingMonitor staff performance, documentation, attendance, and adherence to care plansCoordinate with nursing, activities, dining, and other departments to support residents' overall well-beingParticipate in resident assessments, admissions, care conferences, and family meetingsHelp develop meaningful routines, activities, and engagement opportunities for residentsMaintain compliance with applicable regulations, community policies, and confidentiality requirementsRespond appropriately to incidents, complaints, and resident or family concernsPromote a safe, respectful, organized, and welcoming memory care environmentPosition and SchedulePosition: Full-timeWhy Join Inlet Coastal Resort?Inlet Coastal Resort is a family-owned senior living community where residents are known as individuals and team members make a meaningful difference each day.
