The Back of House (BOH) Team Member is responsible for preparing and assembling high-quality food with precision, speed, and care. This role is crucial to ensuring that every guest receives fresh, delicious meals that meet Chick-fil-A's high standards. BOH Team Members work behind the scenes to maintain food safety, cleanliness, and excellence in every meal served.

Key Responsibilities

• Food Preparation & Quality
• Prepare, cook, and assemble menu items according to Chick-fil-A Pathway standards.
• Ensure all food is served fresh, hot, and prepared with accuracy and consistency.
• Maintain proper portioning, temperature control, and food safety standards.
• Follow all recipes, procedures, and quality guidelines to ensure excellence in every meal.
• Operational Excellence
• Keep all kitchen stations clean, organized, and well-stocked throughout the shift.
• Support daily and weekly cleaning tasks, including equipment, floors, and storage areas.
• Rotate stock and maintain proper labeling and dating of all food items.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
• Maintain a sense of urgency and efficiency during periods of high volume.
• Teamwork & Culture
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with other team members and leaders.
• Support Front of House operations by ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Demonstrate integrity, humility, and teamwork in every interaction.
• Contribute to a positive, encouraging, and growth-oriented kitchen culture.
• Additional Expectations
• Demonstrates flexibility by performing other duties as assigned to support operations and team success.
• Must be able to safely lift up to 50 lbs, work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods.
• Maintains consistent and reliable attendance with dependable transportation.
• Upholds Chick-fil-A City Gate's standards of excellence, integrity, and professionalism in all interactions.

Preferred Experience (Not Required)

• Previous experience in food preparation, kitchen work, or a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Familiarity with Chick-fil-A standards and operational procedures.
