Plant Reliability Technician — Industrial Equipment & Controls

In this third‑shift role, you’ll blend mechanical aptitude with electrical/controls know‑how to ensure assets perform every night. Training begins on first shift, and we provide the tools and a stable path for long-term growth.Your missionIncrease equipment reliability through rapid troubleshooting and robust PM/PdMResolve mechanical issues across conveyors, mixers, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, hydraulics, and pneumaticsTackle electrical challenges up to 480V, including motors, starters, relays, contactors, and VFDsDiagnose Allen‑Bradley PLC faults and support corrective actionsUse multimeters and test equipment to validate hypotheses and repairsExecute Lockout/Tagout flawlessly and champion plant safetyDocument work with accuracy and support continuous improvement initiativesPartner with production while operating independently overnightQualificationsRequired5+ years of industrial maintenance experienceDemonstrated mechanical troubleshooting and repair strengthExperience with 120/208/240/480 VAC systemsAllen‑Bradley PLC troubleshooting experienceExposure to conveyors, mixers, pumps, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumaticsAbility to interpret technical documentation and schematicsCompetence with hand/shop tools and electrical test instrumentsLOTO proficiencyAbility to work independently on an off‑shift (third shift)PreferredWelding and fabricationForklift experienceScissor lift experienceExperience in GMP-regulated manufacturingSafety-first workplaceWork occurs in an industrial manufacturing environment where PPE is required, including:RespiratorSteel-toed bootsHearing protectionAdditional PPE as neededYou may work around lead-containing materials; adherence to safety and environmental protocols is essential.Schedule & growthThird-shift role with onboarding/training on first shiftTypical overtime: 0–5 hours per weekCompany-provided toolsStable workplace with long-term growth opportunitiesStrengths you bringMechanical Troubleshooting Skills120/208/240/480 Voltage SystemsElectrical TroubleshootingHigh Voltage SystemsPneumatics TroubleshootingWelding Setups for ProductionMaintenance and Repair SkillsEquipment Diagnostics & TroubleshootingLockout/Tagout (LOTO)Electrical Schematic ReadingEquipment Installation & WiringEquipment Repair & MaintenanceTechnologies & systemsVariable Frequency Drives (VFD)Programmable Logic Controller (PLC)Conveyor SystemsServo Motors #J-18808-Ljbffr Torrey Holistics
