Registered Nurse (RN) - L&D

Registered Nurse – Obstetrics

Shift: Days 7a-7p, Every 3rd Weekend, On-Call (must be able to arrive within 30 minutes of being called in).

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

• Current license by the Ohio State Board of Nursing
• BLS Certification (Required)
• NRP Certification (Required)
• STABLE Certification (Required)
• At least 3 years of experience working in OB, Postpartum, and/or L&D

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive physical and psychosocial assessments of patients.
• Establish collaborative care plans based on assessment data and communicate them as appropriate.
• Implement and evaluate care plans, modifying them based on patient reassessment.
• Complete documentation in accordance with established standards.
• Assess patient readiness to learn and implement individualized education plans.
• Participate in departmental initiatives and serve on committees as needed.

Must comply with all established policies, procedures, regulatory, and accreditation requirements. Provide excellent service to all customers by demonstrating high standards of performance.
