Location: Waldorf, Maryland Compensation: $27.00–$32.00/hour Hours: 40 hours per week Schedule: Monday–Friday with a weekend rotation Facility: 115-bed Skilled Nursing Facility Rehabilitation: Long-term and short-term care New graduates are welcome to apply and will be considered based on their qualifications and experience, with compensation aligned to their clinical level. Overview We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant to join a collaborative rehabilitation team in Waldorf, Maryland . You’ll work alongside Physical Therapists and an interdisciplinary care team to provide individualized rehabilitation services to both long-term and short-term patients. Why Join This Team? $27.00–$32.00/hour 40 hours per week Monday–Friday schedule with a weekend rotation Work in a 115-bed skilled nursing facility Care for both long-term and short-term rehabilitation patients Supportive and collaborative clinical environment Meaningful hands-on patient care Opportunities to strengthen your clinical skills and professional experience New graduates and experienced PTAs are encouraged to apply Responsibilities As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will: Implement individualized treatment programs under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist Provide therapeutic exercises and functional activities based on patient goals Assist patients with gait, mobility, balance, strength, endurance, and functional training Monitor patient responses to treatment and communicate changes to the supervising PT Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, mobility, safety, and continued progress Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Collaborate with PTs, nursing staff, caregivers, and other members of the interdisciplinary team Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey Provide safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Maryland Strong communication and interpersonal skills Dependable, compassionate, and patient-focused Ability to work effectively in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation environment New graduates are welcome to apply Why Waldorf?
