You Have:

• Experience working in hardware design, prototyping, 3D modeling and computer-aided drafting ( CAD ) in an internship, school projects, or in a professional work environment
• Knowledge of basic engineering and physics principles as they apply to hardware design and product develop ment
• Knowledge of manufacturing technologies and approaches, including additive and subtractive manufacturing techniques
• Ability to develop technical documentation, including 2D technical drawings and written technical documentation
• Ability to collaborate with an integrated product team, including a variety of technical and non-technical teammates
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with prototyping and integration related to electromechanical or military systems
• Experience with finite element analysis ( FEA ) or modeling and simulation activities
• Experience with other engineering sof tware, including Matlab, Mathcad, or multiphysics sof tware
• Experience with lab-based develop mental testing and test data acquisition
• Knowledge of product design for manufacturability, reliability, maintainability, injection molding, ruggedization, and exposure to extreme environments
• Secret clearance
• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,300.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
