Senior Associate, Treasury Liquidity Data Analytics Country: United States of America Role Overview The Senior Associate, Treasury for Liquidity Data Analytics performs advanced quantitative analysis to inform asset‑liability management (ALM) and liquidity strategies, using SQL and/or Python to create reports, dashboards, and forecasts on large balance sheets. Key responsibilities include refining analytical models, assessing market and macroeconomic impacts, collaborating with senior leaders, and ensuring data integrity. This role requires strong technical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to tackle complex, ambiguous problems within a fast‑paced financial environment. Responsibilities Conduct quantitative analysis on treasury data, including liquidity, interest rate risk, capital, and balance sheet management. Design, develop, and refine analytical models, scorecards, and valuation frameworks to improve decision‑making. Prepare data for analysis, ensure its accuracy and integrity, and deliver high‑quality, well‑structured written presentations and dashboards for senior audiences. Develop cash flow forecasts, analyze variances, and track key treasury metrics and KPIs. Serve as an internal consultant, providing insights and recommendations to solve major business challenges and contribute to strategic initiatives. Build relationships and work with various teams, including finance, business lines, IT engineering, and risk, to achieve common goals. Gather and analyze data, market trends, and regulatory developments to inform strategy and maintain subject‑matter expertise. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Engineering or equivalent field. – Required. Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Engineering or equivalent field. – Preferred. 9 Years of relevant work experience in a quantitative or financial analytics role in the Banking/Financial Services Industry. – Required. Proficiency in scripting/programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL) and advanced skills in Excel and Power BI. Practical knowledge in financial analysis, competitive analytics, balance sheet management, and risk management. Ability to tackle ambiguous problems, think critically, and extract insights from complex datasets. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to clearly articulate complex financial concepts to diverse audiences. Certifications No Certifications listed for this job.
