We are looking for a detail-oriented Supply Chain Support specialist to join a long-term contract assignment on site in Lenexa, Kansas. This position supports purchasing and supply chain activities tied to military-style procurement requirements, with a strong focus on documentation accuracy, compliance records, and material movement coordination. The role is ideal for someone who understands how to manage required purchase documentation for parts, raw materials, or services while keeping supply chain operations organized and efficient.

Responsibilities:

• Manage purchasing activities for parts, raw materials, and services in alignment with established supply chain procedures.

• Prepare, organize, and maintain compliance documentation required to support procurement transactions and supplier records.

• Track inventory-related information and material movement to help ensure timely availability and accurate operational visibility.

• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to support order processing, logistics execution, and documentation flow.

• Review purchasing records and supporting paperwork for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to company and customer requirements.

• Use SAP and related systems to enter, update, and monitor procurement and supply chain information.

• Create and maintain Excel-based reports using filters, pivot tables, and basic formulas to support daily operational needs.

• Assist with logistics and supply chain follow-up activities to help resolve delays, documentation gaps, or order issues.

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years of experience related to military purchasing, supply chain support, or procurement operations.
• Background working with military buying processes or comparable civilian supply chain purchasing environments.
• Hands-on experience handling compliance packages and required procurement documentation for purchased materials or services.
• Familiarity with SAP R/3 or similar enterprise systems used for purchasing and supply chain transactions.
• Basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including filtering, pivot tables, formatting, and simple formulas.
• Understanding of logistics coordination, documentation control, and inventory tracking within a supply chain setting.
• Experience working with quality, compliance, or regulated purchasing documentation is strongly preferred.
• DoD security clearance is not required for this position.
