Senior Microsoft 365 to Google Workspace Transformation Architect Remote work Duration: 12 Months+ Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Cloud Transformation Architect to lead the end-to-end migration and restructuring of complex Microsoft 365 environments into Google Workspace. In this role, you will be directly responsible for designing and executing technical migration strategies-moving far beyond basic file/document library transfers. You will map, refactor, and modernize intricate SharePoint structures (Lists, custom workflows, publishing sites) into native Google Workspace solutions (AppSheet, Google Sites, Drive, Google Apps Script), as well as converting complex Excel workbooks and macros into Google Sheets ecosystem workflows.

Key Responsibilities Own the end-to-end architectural strategy and execution for migrating complex Microsoft 365 environments to Google Workspace, serving as the hands-on SME rather than relying solely on automated vendor tools. Analyze and transform advanced SharePoint structures-including customized SharePoint Lists , legacy workflows , publishing sites , and permission frameworks-into modern, native Google Workspace/Cloud architectures. Convert complex Excel workbooks, VBA macros, and legacy automation into Google Sheets , Google Apps Script , and low-code applications via AppSheet . Design custom data mapping, schema migrations, and business process replacements to ensure zero functional loss during cutover from M365 to Google Workspace. Partner with business leaders and engineering teams to audit legacy environments, demonstrate modern Google alternative solutions, and guide users through business process transformations.

Qualifications & Key Requirements Deep M365 Expertise: Advanced technical knowledge of Microsoft 365 architecture, with specific mastery in SharePoint Lists, publishing sites, Power Automate/custom workflows, and complex Excel VBA . Google Workspace Architecture: Proven hands-on track record executing enterprise transformations into Google Workspace, including Google Drive, Google Sites, Google Sheets, Google Apps Script, and AppSheet . Demonstrated experience personally designing and executing complex content and process migrations, rather than simply operating third-party automated "lift-and-shift" migration tools. Strong ability to take non-standard business logic built into legacy Microsoft tools and re-architect it natively within the Google Cloud/Workspace ecosystem. Excellent analytical skills to audit legacy tenant setups, identify edge cases/blockers, and articulate technical migration roadmaps clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
