Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages.
• Assess patients’ oral health and provide appropriate recommendations for treatment.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA standards.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
• Assist in the management of pediatric patients, ensuring their comfort during procedures.
• Utilize Open Dental software for scheduling, patient records, and treatment planning.
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

Qualifications:

• Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
• Proficiency in medical terminology and dental terminology.
• Familiarity with Open Dental software is preferred but not required.
• Taking dental radiographs.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations.
• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations.
