Backend Software Engineer
Join Enveritas as a Backend Software Engineer focusing on Python and PostgreSQL to contribute to a mission-driven non-profit dedicated to improving the livelihoods of coffee farmers globally. You will work remotely as part of a small, talented team, enhancing backend systems that support large-scale data collection and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend features for EUDR services.
- Investigate and resolve data anomalies and system issues.
- Adapt systems to comply with evolving regulatory requirements.
- Improve observability and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
- Apply and maintain infrastructure changes in AWS using Terraform.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Python and experience with Django or Flask.
- Advanced knowledge of PostgreSQL, including optimization and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with AWS services, Docker, and Linux.
- At least 7 years of experience in backend software engineering.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
