Description - What You'll Do

• Validate results for accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and carry out preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for testing as required.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, train new team members or interns, and contribute to maintaining high lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and secure work environment, while adhering to regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or equivalent allied health degree combined with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of hire.
• Maintain current certification throughout your employment.
