DoW Skillbridge Participants must be active duty service members in good standing with Command Approval who are within 180‑days of retirement from service with expectations of receiving Honorable or General Discharge (candidates within 9‑months of retirement are encouraged to apply). Our products and technologies require an extraordinary team. Responsibilities Operate CNC equipment to machine critical, tight‑tolerance aerospace components, including 3‑, 5‑axis mills, mill‑turning machines, and live‑tooling equipped lathes. Program using Hypermill CAM software to produce prototype, R&D, and one‑off parts. Take on cradle‑to‑grave machining projects to support high‑pace output of development hardware, reworks, and part modifications. Assist with all shop‑related operations including tool and work‑holding creation and procurement, equipment cleaning and maintenance. Required Qualifications 4+ years experience in a machining environment. Experience operating CNC equipment (lathe or mill). Demonstrated critical thinker. Experience handling parts from programming through completed machined part. Desired Experience Experience with multi‑axis and mill‑turn machines; programming is a plus. Experience in an aerospace machining environment. Experience with modern multi‑axis CAM packages. Knowledge of modern high‑speed machining strategies and tooling. Experience with titanium and high‑nickel aerospace alloys. Colorado law requires us to tell you the base compensation range of this role, which is $27.68–$36.00 per hour.
