Job Opportunity

Position: ER Registered Nurse

This position offers variable shift options, including Mid (3x12-Hour 14:00 - 02:30) and Night (3x12-Hour 19:00 - 07:30) shifts. First-time travelers are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities

Float between units based on patient care needs.
Provide care to a diverse patient population across different ages, including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
Adhere to expected patient ratios of 1:4.
Perform various nursing procedures and assist in the emergency department.
Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and participate in interdisciplinary care.

Position Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of charge experience required.
Experience with Epic charting system is necessary.
Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP.
Experience in blood product administration, central line care/management, and the interpretation of dysrhythmias preferred.

Additional Information

No on-call requirements.
Weekend availability required: every other weekend.
Must have a vehicle for transportation between floating assignments.
No block scheduling available.
Orientation hours will be provided prior to the start of the assignment.

Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, and more.
Handles a variety of patient diagnoses, emergencies, and special procedures.

Travel Assignments

Travelers may be required to float between various facilities in nearby areas. A $5/hour incentive will be provided for hours worked at assigned floating locations, along with mileage reimbursement. Hotel accommodations may be offered for consecutive floating shifts.

Compliance and References

References required: 2 references covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years.
