Base pay range $95,000.00/yr - $105,000.00/yr Additional compensation types Annual Bonus Direct message the job poster from Calbee America Calbee America is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead all quality assurance, food safety, and regulatory programs at our Madera, CA facility . This role ensures products meet company standards, customer expectations, and all applicable regulations while promoting a strong culture of quality across the site. Key Responsibilities Lead, train, and develop the QA team to maintain excellence in food safety and compliance. Oversee QA programs including SQF, HACCP, GMPs, sanitation verification, allergen control, and traceability. Manage customer and regulatory audits, non-conformance investigations, and corrective actions. Collaborate with Operations, R&D, and Sanitation to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement. Review and approve QA documentation, batch records, and product release decisions. Monitor and analyze quality metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or related field preferred. Minimum 5-7 years of QA & Sanitation experience in food manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of SQF, HACCP, GMP, and FDA/USDA regulations. Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
