Second-Shift CustodianThe Fairview Park City Schools has an opening for a Second-Shift Custodian at Gilles-Sweet Elementary. This position is eight (8) hours per day (3:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m. includes a 1/2 hour unpaid lunch), 186 days per year (student days).Qualifications:High school diplomaFriendly and polite demeanorAbility to work well with staff and studentsEvidence of exceptional attendance and work recordPrevious custodial/maintenance experience preferredEvidence of good mechanical aptitudeAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsAbility to work at a fast pace when requiredEvidence of good health and hygieneBe of good physical stature and able to lift 50 pounds and do bendingHave a valid Ohio Driver LicensePrimary Responsibilities:Perform general cleaningGeneral repairs on equipment and in buildingsProvide leadership and direction to sweeper/cleaner staffMix and use cleaning materials properly and according to directionsWork safely so as not to expose self or others to unsafe conditionsUse cleaning equipment in a safe and proper mannerProvide set up and tear down for meeting and programsOpen and close facilities as requiredRespond to requests to staff and residents requires in a timely mannerSalary: Proper placement per the negotiated agreement.
