We strive to keep the small company feeling while still reaching users all over the globe.Position Summary:The Custodian will be responsible for the overall cleanliness of the building and grounds and will assist in maintenance activities.Duties and Responsibilities:This list is not comprehensive but meant to represent the most common or important duties of the position. Other duties are required and/or assigned:Maintain restrooms by cleaning floors, toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors, countertops, trash removal, restocking paper towels and toilet paperMaintain breakroom and hallways by sweeping, mopping or scrubbing floors, cleaning sinks, countertops, microwave, tables, chairs, etc.Make recommendations regarding preventive maintenance schedules and recordsProvide recommendations for improving current systems and schedulesAssist with production floor cleaning responsibilitiesClean and maintain the production area as neededShovel snow from sidewalks and patios as neededRun errands as neededRequirements:Minimum Qualifications:Good attention to detail. Prior cleaning, janitorial, custodial, day porter, or maintenance experience preferred.Language Skills:Ability to read, analyze, and interpret procedures and manualsCertificates, Licenses, Registrations:Maintains a valid Driver's License.Mathematical Skills:Ability to apply concepts of basic math.Reasoning Ability:Ability to solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Essential Job Functions:Critical features of this job are described below. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., sit, stand, and walk for hours at a time. Moderate noise level and moderate exposure to physical risk. Use of isopropyl alcohol, mineral spirits, industrial cleaners and solvents. Must be able to climb a 9' ladder.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:Ability to establish priorities, work independently with minimal supervision, and facilitate teamwork.
