Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Tue 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Wed 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Sun 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate contacts. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and assist with visitor and vendor screening processes in accordance with site protocols and healthcare location expectations. Support Allied Universal staff and site personnel during routine operations and/or urgent events while maintaining a professional presence and clear communication. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 1 year of security‑related experience. Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical‑related field. Be at least 21 years of age. Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client. Meet hospital vaccine requirements. Be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue. Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
