Position Title: MVAC Archaeology Technician Job Category: University Staff Employment Type: Regular Job Profile: Archaeology Lab Technician Job Duties: If hired from this pool, the archaeology technician will be under the general supervision of the relevant department chair. This position consists of assisting MVAC staff members in conducting archaeological surveys and excavations in the field and processing the artifacts in the laboratory. 95% - Archaeology field experience conducting surveys and excavations and processing the artifacts. 5% - Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
