Lab Manager

Payrate: $42.00 - $43.00/hr.


Responsibilities:

• Provides general laboratory support to the DSTS chemistry laboratories.
• Responsibilities include:
• Performs periodic cleaning and basic maintenance of laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Performs general laboratory support functions, such as cleaning glassware, autoclaving laboratory supplies and laboratory housekeeping.
• Prepares various chemical solutions and media.
• Maintains stocks of laboratory reagents and supplies.
• Coordinates disposal of glass, biohazard, chemical, and radiochemical laboratory waste.
• Records data and performs basic mathematical computations.
• Reviews temperature monitoring charts.
• May assist with special projects as assigned.
• Follows all applicable SOPs and procedures.

Skills:

• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 25 lbs.

Basic Qualifications:

• Doctorate degree OR Masters degree and 2 years of experience OR Bachelors degree and 4 years of experience OR Associates degree and 8 years of experience OR High school diploma / GED and 10 years of experience

Top 3 Must Have Skill Sets:

• Customer service, knowledge of lab operations, computer skills.

Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $42.00 - $43.00 /hr . Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
