Plant AccountantSalary: $80,000 – $100,000 + BonusWhy This Opportunity Stands Out:Join a stable and growing organization with a strong track record of success.Gain direct exposure to operations and finance leadership.Work in a highly visible role that influences business decisions.Be part of a company that promotes from within and supports career growth.Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiencies.Partner closely with plant operations and leadership teams.Competitive bonus opportunity of up to 9%.Strong benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans.Opportunity to work with newly implemented technologies and modernized processes.Key Responsibilities for the Plant Accountant:Maintain product costing, standard costs, and activity-based cost models.Analyze labor, production, and operational costs to identify trends and opportunities.Perform inventory reconciliations and support inventory valuation processes.Prepare month-end journal entries, accruals, allocations, and account analyses.Conduct variance analysis and communicate findings to management.Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting activities.Qualifications for the Plant Accountant:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.3+ years of accounting experience with exposure to cost accounting.Experience in manufacturing, food production, agriculture, or similar operational environments preferred.Strong knowledge of inventory, job costing, and financial analysis.ERP system experience required; JD Edwards experience is a plus.Understanding of GAAP and month-end close processes.
