Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist - $1970 per week.

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

• Trauma Level 2 experience is required.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

Required Skills/Experience: Recent Level 1 or Level 2 experience required. Experience with EKGs, bedside bronchs, and bedside spirometry required.

Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check. Cannot be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI or Dignity. RTO must be requested upfront; 7 or fewer days per 13-week contract. Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submission.

Unit Details: Patient population ranges from neonates to geriatrics. Inpatient coverage across all areas/floors. Hospitalist or intensivist in house 24/7. Lead therapist on each shift. Traveler would not be the only RT in house. Uses Drager, Servo I, and Carefusion ventilators; Vision, V60, V30, and Respironics S/T BiPAPs; Airvo2 high flow.

Shift & Scheduling: Team scheduling. Every third weekend. Holidays rotate with permanent staff.

Floating Requirements: Float to different areas throughout the hospital in an RT capacity.

7 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required for submission

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• CRT (Certified Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification RRT

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)
