The Company consists of three business segments: Human Nutrition and Health, Animal Nutrition and Health, and Specialty Products.POSITION SUMMARY:Participate in finance and accounting department functions and provide support and assistance to Financial Planning & Analysis, Commercial Finance, General Accounting and External Reporting.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Support annual budget and monthly forecast processes by creating templates, upload files, summaries, and reportsHelp prepare presentations for senior leadership including Board of Directors meetingsSupport commercial finance leaders through analysis, data organization, and ad hoc projectsAnalyze sales volume, pricing, cost structure, and other metrics to maximize profitabilityWork with information technology systems including Microsoft D365, Power BI, and AtlasAssist in the preparation of forms 10-K and 10-Q with the SECSupport the Companys ongoing Sarbanes-Oxley compliance initiativeSupply internal or external audit team with information and analysis as requiredAssist in the preparation of monthly financial reports (income and departmental statements) for management reviewPrepare account analysis as neededFollows all safety policies and procedures including use of safety equipment (PPE) and equipment safeguardsREQUIREMENTS:BS in Finance (MBA a plus)Some experience (including relevant internships)Proficient in Microsoft ExcelBuild solid working relationships and partner closely with peers, business, functional and finance teamsStrong business sense, attention to detail and a strong desire to grow professionally are keys to success in this challenging positionUnderstands implicitly how to manage and work with multiple and diverse stakeholdersArticulate with excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skillsCollaborative team player, excellent interpersonal, and team-building skillsAble to work in a fast-paced environment; able to multi-task with proven follow-through and adherence to changing priorities and deadlinesStrong work ethic with self-accountability for high-quality resultsPositive attitude and perseverance in the face of challenges and/or changing circumstancesHigh-energy, proactive, self-starter capable of completing a diverse workload within tight timelinesHighest standards of ethical conduct and integrity#INBalchem is committed to a workplace culture that values and promotes diversity, inclusion, equal employment opportunities, and a work environment free of harassment and hostility.Department: Finance Location: Montvale, NJ
