What the job looks like

This is a field based sales role working with convenience stores, bars, and restaurants across your territory. You are the face of Carlson Distributing and the person your customers rely on.

Day to day, you are managing relationships, taking orders, making sure product is in the right place, and keeping accounts running strong. Beyond that, you are paying attention to opportunities to grow sales by bringing in new products, running promotions, and helping your accounts improve their overall performance.

You will manage your own day, stay organized, and keep things moving without needing someone looking over your shoulder.

Pay and schedule

Daily pay ranges from $170 to $190 depending on experience

Monthly bonus target is $1,100 , tied to performance metrics and can go up or down based on results

Mileage reimbursement is provided for use of your personal vehicle

Monday through Friday schedule

Start time is 7:00 AM

Typical day is about 8 hours or until the work is completed

This is an exempt position

What we are looking for

Someone who is comfortable building relationships and knows how to influence and sell

Self motivated and able to manage their own territory and priorities

Organized and able to keep up in a fast paced environment

Customer focused with a practical, get it done mindset

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required

Ability to lift 35 pounds regularly and up to 150 pounds occasionally

A degree is great but not required. Work ethic and attitude matter more
