Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Building Access Control in Orange, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a commercial real estate location, helping to maintain a secure environment for tenants, visitors, and property. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, respond to alarms and access-control needs, and deliver exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

DayTimeSat10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSun10:00 PM - 06:00 AMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout commercial property areas, including buildings, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter locations.
- Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location to help deter unauthorized entry, trespassing, and/or property-related concerns.
- Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity in accordance with site-specific reporting procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
