Sanitation Specialist

1. Disassemble, clean and sanitize all manufacturing equipment as required by SWK sanitation procedures

1. Clean and maintain manufacturing environment, and including equipment

1. Learn and perform change-over and re-assembly of production equipment for next day's run

1. Documenting sanitation tasks performed on a day-to-day basis

1. Maintain cleanliness of work area

1. Report any conditions or issues that need attention to Sanitation Team Leader

1. Works safely adhering to all safety procedures. Wears proper PPE. Keeps up to date on all information on the MSDS for all cleaning chemicals used in the cleaning process.
2. Follow all company policies and procedures with regard to safety, quality, sanitation, personnel, maintenance, and equipment, including food safety.
3. Ability to read and comprehend instructions, SOP's, MSDS and manuals
4. Perform other job duties as assigned.
5. May be required to work flexible hours that may in excess of 40 hours per week periodically as business needs require
6. Successfully follow Module 9, GMP, HACCP, and SOP policies and procedures

Tier Criteria

• Tier 1

• Successfully complete 90-day introductory period
• Attendance run rate <8 occurrences
• Successfully completes all new hiring training
• Successfully completes all job description requirements
• Successfully follows 5S color coded brush system
• Received pallet jack certification
• Successfully complete Ecolab chemical training online module
• Successfully complete Sanitation PPE training online module
• Successfully disassemble and reassemble production line 1, with assistance
• Successfully disassemble and reassemble production line 2, with assistance
• Successfully perform duties and record info in Sanitation daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly logs
• Meet requirements and successfully perform the following procedures:

• P0166: COP Sani-Matic System
• Q0100: Sanitation procedures for allergen- dedicated utensils, pails and storage bins
• P0071: Sanitation program requirements
• P0143: Sanitation program statement
• P0096: Cleaning and sanitation program
• P0145: General cleaning procedures
• P0207: Spice bin cleaning and sanitizing
• P0060: Production filler rinse procedure

• Tier 2

• Successfully completes all Tier 1 pre-requisites
• Completed six months in Tier 1
• Attendance run rate <7 occurrences
• Successfully perform and record PIT inspections
• Successfully disassemble and reassemble production line 1, without assistance
• Successfully disassemble and reassemble production line 2, without assistance
• Perform duties and record info in Sanitation daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly logs in NAV
• Review and post recorded info in Sanitation daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly logs in NAV
• Disassemble, clean and reassemble the following equipment without assistance:

• Silverson pump
• Colloid mill
• Steam box
• Fitz mill
• Robo coupe
• Tomato paste drum pump

• Meet requirements and successfully perform the following procedures:

• P0076: Pasteurizer cooler cleaning
• P0088: Line 2 cooler sanitation
• P0147: Cold/Warm product sanitation procedure
• P0121: Line 2 filler head set up
• P0123: Line 2 pope feed set-up list
• P0125: Line 1 kettle cleaning and sanitizing
• P0085: Sanitation kettles-hot holding tanks - line
• P0087: Kitchen daily cleaning - environment
• P0089: Mezzanine cleaning

• Tier 3

Pay Details: $23.00 per hour
