Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Unit Aide to join our team at Sprain Brook Manor, a premier rehabilitation center in Scarsdale, New York. As a Unit Aide, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our patients, helping them to achieve their rehabilitation goals and regain independence. Responsibilities:
Assist licensed nursing staff with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming patients
Help patients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety and comfort
Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, fostering a positive and engaging environment
Maintain a clean and organized unit, adhering to infection control standards
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
Document patient care and progress in accordance with facility policies and procedures

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
1 year of experience in a similar healthcare setting preferred
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records
