Certified Medical Coders - Outpnt & EDLocation: Bronx, NY Pay Rate: $38/hr Schedule: 8:00 AM-4:00 PMRequirements:High School Diploma/GED, AHIMA, RHIA or RHIT and/or CCP, CCS.Three years experienceKnowledge of ICD10Knowledge of coding guidelines, payor guidelines, federal billing guidelinesMust possess proficient computer skills (e.g., MS Word, Excel, ICD 9 CM, CPT 4, Encoder)Must have CCS and knowledgeable with 3M/HDS coding application. Outpatient and ED experience.Knowledge of anatomy, physiology & disease processesAbility to research coding related issues
