Your future role at a glanceLocation: Remote with up to 30% travel within FL marketDepartment: RegulatorySchedule: Full Time, Monday- Friday, DaysHow you'll make an impact in this rolePlans, organizes, leads and manages all activities related to emergency preparedness and disaster planning.Assists with design and implementation of ongoing department specific training regarding emergency preparedness. Ensures plan meets federal, state and other regulatory requirements.Plans and facilitates emergency preparedness drills including local emergency services. Serves as liaison between administration and local officials during actual times of disaster.Coordinates capital and operational budgetary requirements.Ensures that the system-wide Emergency Operations Plan (EOP) and supplemental materials are up to date and effective including all reporting, drills, and hazard vulnerability analyses.Leads a continuous improvement process that identifies deficiencies and opportunities for improvement, uses them to inform exercise goals and objectives, and measures the effectiveness of improvements made.What Minimum Requirements You'll NeedLicensure / Certification / RegistrationRequired Credential(s):Driver's License obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.Emergency Management obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
