Azure Data Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and data solutions on the Microsoft Azure cloud platform. They enable efficient data collection, transformation, and storage to support analytics, reporting, and machine learning initiatives.

Core Responsibilities
- Design and develop ETL/ELT data pipelines using Azure services
- Ingest data from multiple sources (APIs, databases, streaming platforms)
- Transform and clean data for analytics and reporting
- Build and maintain data lakes and data warehouses
- Optimize data workflows for performance, scalability, and cost
- Ensure data quality, governance, and security compliance
- Monitor pipelines and troubleshoot data issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Data Science, BI, DevOps)
