Our state-of-the-art 5,000 square-foot sports medicine clinic is equipped with the latest technology and treatment modalities, designed to facilitate optimal patient recovery. We pride ourselves on our teamwork, with a collaborative environment where two Physical Therapists and a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) work together to provide unparalleled care to our patients. Our practice primarily serves individuals with private medical insurance, allowing us to focus on delivering high-quality, patient-centered services.Work EnvironmentThis role will be based onsite at our Ashburn clinic. Our clinic operates Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a structured yet dynamic work environment. We maintain a patient-focused ambiance, promoting rehabilitation and wellness through teamwork and effective communication.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with patients to understand their specific goals and needs, creating individualized treatment plans that maximize their potential for recovery.Manage a patient load effectively, typically seeing one patient per hour to ensure quality time and focused treatment.Utilize varying treatment techniques to design comprehensive care plans that emphasize motions, mobility, strength, and functionality.Advise patients on non-surgical alternatives, aiming to reduce dependence on medications by recommending evidence-based rehabilitation methods.Deliver personalized care grounded in best practices and innovative therapy techniques, ensuring patients receive the highest level of service.Evaluate therapies and progress continuously, maintaining thorough documentation and open communication with both patients and the healthcare team.Motivate and encourage patients throughout their treatment journey, helping them adopt healthier lifestyle choices that improve their overall well-being.Engage in multi-disciplinary teamwork, coordinating with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic patient care.Patient Population / Client FocusOur clinic primarily serves a diverse patient base, focusing on individuals dealing with orthopedic conditions that require physical rehabilitation. Our patients are often motivated and involved in their care, and our commitment is to support them through the processes of recovery from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions using tailored therapeutic interventions. QualificationsA Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program is required.A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia, with no disciplinary actions on record.Strong manual therapy skills and proven ability to create effective therapeutic exercise routines.Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems, specifically WebPT or similar platforms, ensuring efficient patient documentation and tracking.Preferred ExperiencePrior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is strongly preferred.Experience using specialized rehabilitation equipment and modalities common in sports medicine.A background in developing wellness programs tailored to individual patient needs will be beneficial.Compensation and BenefitsThis position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
