Weare seeking a creative, strategic, and collaborative Social Media &Marketing Manager to join our team. In this role, you will lead social mediastrategy, paid and organic campaign execution, and community management acrossall Retail Group brand and event channels. Youwill serve as the subject matter expert for both organic content and paidsocial media, partnering closely with event marketing and Retail Groupmarketing teams to build brand awareness, drive audience engagement, generateleads, and increase event registrations. You'll oversee paid social budgets,performance analytics, and ROI reporting while playing a key role in the SocialAmbassador Program, managing influencer and creator recruitment, contracting,campaign execution, and payments in collaboration with the Marketing Director. Inaddition, you will support event and brand marketing initiatives throughintegrated omni-channel campaigns, onsite activations, and client marketingprograms, helping to deliver a consistent and impactful brand experience acrossall touchpoints. This role will split their time between our Rutherford,New Jersey or New York City office (2 days) and working remote (3 days). Flexibilityis provided. What You’ll Do: Lead the development and execution ofsocial media strategy across organic and paid channels Plan, execute, and optimize paidsocial campaigns across Meta, LinkedIn, and TikTok, including audiencetargeting, budget allocation, and bid strategy Create, curate, and execute organicposts across Instagram, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Facebook Monitor social channels for trends,conversations, and brand mentions; engage with followers and build community.Answer DMs, inMail and Facebook messages on brand and event channels Plan, recruit for, and managecommunications for Social Ambassador Programs, working with the MarketingDirector Attend events and Social AmbassadorFAMs onsite to manage social posting and liaise with clients Track and report ROI and ROAS acrosspaid and organic campaigns; adjust strategy based on performance Schedule and publish posts usingsocial media management tools Manage procurement, contracting, andpayment for Social Creators Create social media strategy andmaterials for FAM participants, including paid amplification for clientsfollowing FAMs Collect materials from and communicatedirectly with clients to execute sponsored social programs Stay current on platform trends andbest practices; recommend platform fit against brand goals Build and manage private Facebookgroups for event attendees to create engagement, gather success stories, andanswer questions Create materials and use software tohelp attendees, speakers and exhibitors promote attendance at events Travel up to 25% of the time, bothdomestically and internationally, including approximately one trip per monthlasting up to one week and occasional weekend travel Must-Haves: The Essentials for Success: 4-5years of experience managing social media for a brand, business, agency, ormedia company, including hands-on execution of paid social campaigns Demonstratedexpertise in developing and executing both organic social media strategies andpaid social campaigns Hands-onexperience with Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and TikTok AdsManager Proficiencyin audience targeting, campaign optimization, social media analytics, andROI/ROAS reporting Experiencemanaging paid media budgets, external vendors, influencers, or creatorpartnerships Strongunderstanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices Proficiencywith Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and social media management tools Stronggraphic design and visual storytelling skills Exceptionalwriting, editing, proofreading, grammar, and communication skills Creative,strategic, and data-driven mindset with strong attention to detail Superiorproject management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities andmeet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Excellentinterpersonal, collaboration, and client service skills Bonus Skills: Stand Out From the Crowd Experience in the travel, hospitality,events, or media industry Experience with Sprout Social Experience managing influencer,ambassador, or creator marketing programs Knowledge of social media advertisingattribution and performance measurement To Join Our Team: NorthstarTravel Group is a great place to work, learn and grow.
