Delta Health is seeking a visionary, collaborative, and mission-driven Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead our organization into its next chapter. This is an exceptional opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a rural community while guiding a financially patient-centered healthcare organization committed to Excellence, Every Patient, Every Time.

Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the CEO serves as the organization's senior executive leader and is responsible for strategic direction, operational excellence, financial stewardship, physician partnerships, workforce engagement, and community relationships.

This is an on-site executive leadership position based in Delta, Colorado. Remote work is not available. The selected candidate must establish primary residency within the service area.

What You'll Do

As CEO, you will:

• Lead the development and execution of the organization's strategic vision.
• Foster a culture focused on quality, safety, accountability, and exceptional patient care.
• Ensure the financial strength and long-term sustainability of the organization.
• Build strong partnerships with physicians, employees, the Board of Directors, and community stakeholders.
• Champion operational excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements.
• Support leadership development while promoting an engaged and high-performing workforce.
• Represent Delta Health throughout the community and strengthen regional healthcare partnerships.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will bring:

• 7-10+ years of rural and independent healthcare leadership experience.
• Previous CEO, COO, or senior executive leadership experience in a hospital or health system preferred.
• Master's degree in Healthcare Administration (MHA), Business Administration (MBA), or related field required.
• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related discipline.
• Demonstrated financial acumen with knowledge of healthcare reimbursement and hospital operations.
• Experience working collaboratively with governing boards, medical staff, and executive leadership.
• Outstanding communication, relationship-building, and leadership skills.
• Strong strategic thinking, data-driven decision making, and emotional intelligence.
• FACHE certification preferred.
• As a special district it is expected that the candidate will reside in Delta County.
