Project Superintendent

Project Superintendent The Project Superintendent is responsible for the supervision of all field activities related to the physical construction. He or she carries out the field operations, directs the daily progress of the work, ensures adequate staffing and material supply, and maintains complete information necessary to assemble the product. The role includes primary responsibilities for grading, utilities, paving, curb and gutter, clubhouse, pool, and ancillary structures. Qualifications Minimum 5 years experience as a lead superintendent in single‑family or multi‑family construction Relevant project history from foundations to project completion Experience in wood‑framed construction preferred Licensing and OSHA certifications a plus Responsibilities Generating, securing, or otherwise confirming all information needed to create, monitor, and modify the progress schedule on a continuing basis Developing the progress schedule with the Project Manager Participating in scope reviews of various bid packages to coordinate interfaces Working with the Project Manager to develop and administer the site utilization program, site services, security arrangements, and other facilities and arrangements necessary for construction Identifying field‑construction and work‑sequence considerations when finalizing bid package purchases Monitoring actual versus required performance by all parties Monitoring and ensuring jobsite and subcontractor compliance with the Safety Program Determining whether subcontractors are providing sufficient workforce and hours of work to achieve performance commitments Monitoring the performance of purchasing and engineering functions to ensure timely processing of subcontracts, material purchases, submittals, deliveries, clarifications, and changes Directing any company field staff and providing positive leadership to motivate the team Establishing a field office and maintaining a clean project site Being familiar with subcontractor requirements, identifying scope changes and conflicts beyond the scope of responsibility Establishing and verifying field control measures Managing material deliveries and compliance with purchase agreements Conducting weekly subcontractor meetings to assess construction progress, quality, and safety Preparing daily reports, job diaries, narratives, and other documentation as required by the company and project needs Benefits and Perks Unlimited PTO, health/dental/vision/life insurance, 401(k) matching, learning and educational incentives, Volunteer Time Off, well‑being programs, company events, self‑improvement and productivity tools, and the incredible feeling of making a difference.
