The Opportunity:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and mindful Line Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will prepare and cook a variety of fried dishes, ensuring that every plate meets our high standards of quality and presentation. This position is perfect for someone with experience in the kitchen, a curiosity to learn, and a commitment to creating exceptional dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Food Preparation:
  
  
  • Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and quality standards.

  • Ensure freshness of ingredients by rotating stock and maintaining accurate inventory.

  • Inspect and clean food preparation areas, equipment, and work surfaces to maintain safe and sanitary practices.

• Cooking & Plating:
  
  
  • Season and cook food with precision and care to ensure consistency and excellence.

  • Monitor cooking temperatures and adjust equipment as needed to maintain food safety standards.

  • Plate dishes with attention to detail, ensuring an appealing presentation.

• Team Collaboration:
  
  
  • Communicate effectively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

  • Support your team during busy shifts by staying organized and focused under pressure.

• Customer Focus:
  
  
  • Respond to guest feedback with professionalism and urgency, working to improve the dining experience.

• Cleanliness & Maintenance:
  
  
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout your shift.

  • Assist with kitchen cleaning duties as needed, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment.

Schedule Requirements:

• Must be available to work Mondays, Saturday's, and Sunday's from 4:00 PM to 9:45 PM.

• Additional hours may be available during peak times or when team coverage is needed.

What You Bring:

• Previous experience as a cook or in a similar role preferred.

• A ServeSafe or Food Handler’s certification (or a willingness to attain one).

• A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow within the team.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others in a collaborative environment.

• The ability to stay calm, focused, and organized in a fast-paced setting.

• Physical ability to lift 30+ lbs. and stand for extended periods.

• A genuine passion for food and hospitality.
