About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med/Surg/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Active Nursing License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI (can be completed prior to start) Must-Have: Proficiency with insulin, heparin, and Lasix drips Description: The position involves working night shifts. The schedule is 4x12 hours from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. Weekends and holidays are included. There is no call requirement. The nurse may be required to care for Intermediate Care Unit patients based on census needs. Experience with insulin, heparin, and Lasix drips is essential. The patient population includes individuals with cardiac conditions, diabetes, CHF, COPD, renal issues, general surgical needs, and orthopedic concerns. The team consists of registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, patient care technicians, certified nursing assistants, unit secretaries, and other support staff. The nurse will manage a patient ratio of 1 to 6. Travelers are expected to float to like acuities or lower if required.
