TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Jacksonville, North Carolina, 28546!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med/Surg/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 year of clinical experience License: NC or compact license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI Must-Have: Candidates must be proficient with insulin, heparin, and Lasix drips. Experience with Meditech charting system is preferred. Description: Candidates will be reviewed and interviewed by the manager. Must include RTO in submission to be honored at the time of offer. No RTO inclusive of Fourth of July. Position requires a Monday start. No local candidates within 50-mile radius will be accepted. The shift consists of 3 twelve-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. Block scheduling requests cannot be accommodated. Weekends and holidays are included as part of the schedule. There is no call requirement. Travelers are expected to float to similar acuity levels or lower as needed. Patient population includes cardiac, diabetes, CHF, COPD, renal, general surgery, and orthopedics. The nursing team consists of RNs, LPNs, PCTs, CNAs, and unit secretaries. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1 to 6. Experience with insulin protocols, IV insulin protocols, and titration of insulin drips is essential.
