Account Executive – Small Business Commercial Lines We are seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our Small Business Commercial Lines team. Responsibilities Market new business for producers and renewals. Check the accuracy of policies, endorsements, audits, and related documentation received from insurance companies. Enter and maintain account details in the computer system. Gather information as needed to process renewal/new business policies. Manage the renewal process and prepare renewal proposals for presentation by the producer. Answer telephones and assist clients with coverage questions. Communicate with company personnel regarding client needs and/or problems. Understand agency rating systems and company rating systems and websites. Negotiate rates and coverage with underwriters from other insurance companies. Follow up on requested changes, renewals, etc. with insurance companies. Maintain an accurate suspense system for items requiring response. Perform special projects as requested by management. Qualifications 3 to 5 years of Commercial Lines account management experience with an established broker. 2+ years of prior office/customer service experience. Valid Property & Casualty Broker’s License. Excellent presentation and communication skills. Strong organization skills. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a deadline‑driven environment. College degree preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. The expected salary range for this position is $39.42/hr - $40.66/hr and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience, and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope, and level.
