Role Description The Development Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in West Orange, NJ. This role involves identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, supporting sales initiatives, and strengthening client relationships across auction and appraisal services. The Development Specialist will analyze market data, track industry trends, and contribute to strategic planning to expand Caspert's reach and service offerings. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing proposals, coordinating with internal teams on service delivery, maintaining accurate records in relevant systems, and participating in presentations or client meetings. The role also requires collaboration with leadership to refine development strategies, optimize processes, and support the company's continued growth and innovation.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret market data, assess business opportunities, and support strategic decision-making.

Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to engage clients, collaborate with internal teams, and prepare clear proposals and presentations.

Candidates should possess Software Development and Programming skills where applicable to support internal tools, data systems, or process automation.

Candidates should possess Sales skills to drive business development activities, nurture leads, and contribute to revenue growth.

Relevant qualifications include experience in business development, sales, or client services, preferably in auctions, appraisals, financial services, or related industries.

A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
