Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (11:00–23:30) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department serving a diverse patient population with medical, mental health, and chemical dependency needs
• Manage a patient ratio of 3:1 across all shifts
• Care for patients presenting with trauma, injury, and urgent medical conditions, with a focus on neuro, cardiac, and mental health specialties
• Utilize Epic (Excellian) for all clinical documentation and charting
• Work every third weekend as part of the standard schedule
• Float within the hospital or to an affiliate facility as needed to meet patient care demands

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (Minnesota license in hand preferred; candidates may apply for MN licensure upon offer acceptance)
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience
• Required certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale, and TNCC
• Proficiency with Epic/Excellian charting system
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
• No more than 5 days of requested time off during the assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a teaching hospital or Level 3 trauma center environment
• Background working with neuro, cardiac, or mental health patient populations
• First-time travel nurses are welcome to apply
