In this pivotal role, you will conduct thorough operational due diligence reviews across a range of investment vehicles, including hedge funds, real estate, and private equity. Your ability to evaluate external asset managers will be crucial in assessing their operational capabilities and risk management proficiency.Key Responsibilities:* Conduct on-site meetings with external asset managers to evaluate operational strength.* Document and present findings to regional research committees.* Lead special projects and regulatory research.* Analyze financial statements and perform due diligence on supporting administrators.Candidate Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess:* 3-5 years of relevant experience in operational audit or asset management.* A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.* Chartered Accountant or Chartered Financial Analyst qualification.* Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.* A solid understanding of industry standards and best practices, particularly concerning hedge funds and pooled investment products.* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.This role may involve up to 20% travel.
