As a Senior Product Developer at Epicor, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining product features across frontend, backend, database, and integration layers. You will help deliver secure, high-performing solutions that scale for enterprise workloads while partnering closely with Product Management, Quality Assurance, UX, and cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for driving technical excellence through designreviews,codequalityimprovements,mentoring,andcontinuousinnovation.Weareseekingapplicantswithstrongtechnicalexpertise,acollaborativemindset,andapassionforsolvingcomplexproblemswithmoderntechnologiesandAI-enabledtools.Whatyouwillbedoing:Design,develop,test,andmaintainnewandexistingapplicationfeaturesacrossthesoftwaredevelopmentlifecycle.BuildresponsiveuserexperiencesusingReact,Angular,orsimilarmodernwebframeworks.Developbackendservices,businesslogic,APIs,andintegrationsusingPython,Django,orcomparabletechnologies.CreateandoptimizeSQLqueries,databasemodels,anddataprocessestosupportscalableenterpriseapplications.Leadtechnicaldesigndiscussions,participateincodereviews,andcontributetoarchitecturalandsolutionplanningdecisions.Investigatesoftwaredefects,identifyrootcauses,andimplementsustainable,long-termsolutionsthatimproveproductqualityandperformance.Mentordevelopers,promotedevelopmentbestpractices,andleverageAItoolsandtechnologiestoenhanceproductcapabilitiesandteamproductivity.Whatyouwilllikelybring:5+years'experienceinsoftwaredevelopment,withdemonstratedsuccessdeliveringmodernwebapplicationsandenterprise-scalesolutions.StrongexperiencewithReact(orasimilarmodernUIframework),Python,Djangoorcomparableframeworks/ORMs,SQL,APIs,andfull-stackwebdevelopment.Deepunderstandingofsoftwarearchitecture,testingmethodologies,debuggingtechniques,applicationsecurity,andperformanceoptimization.Experiencedesigning,building,andsupportingintegrations,RESTfulAPIs,anddata-drivenapplications.Stronganalytical,problem-solving,communication,andcollaborationskills,withtheabilitytoworkeffectivelyacrosstechnicalandbusinessteams.BachelorofSciencedegreeinComputerScience,SoftwareEngineering,arelatedfield,orequivalentprofessionalexperience.Whatcouldsetyouapart:ExperiencewithAI-powereddevelopmenttoolssuchasGitHubCopilot,Codex,Claude,orsimilartechnologies.Provenabilitytomentorteammembers,influencetechnicaldirection,anddriveimprovementstocodingstandards,tools,anddevelopmentprocesses.Experiencerapidlylearningnewtechnologies,platforms,andbusinessdomainswhiledeliveringimpactfulsolutions.#LI-DW #LI-HybridAbout Epicor At Epicor, we’re truly a team.
