Tech Dietitian

Job Summary:

Seeking a licensed Registered Dietitian for a travel assignment at a hospital unit. The role involves providing nutritional care, collaborating with staff, and ensuring patient needs are met with excellent communication and professionalism.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Evaluate patients' nutritional status and develop appropriate care plans.
  
  
• 
  Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record system.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with medical staff and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and their families on nutrition guidelines and dietary recommendations.
  
  
• 
  Adhere to unit policies, safety protocols, and dress code standards.
  
  
• 
  Participate in unit activities and provide coverage during scheduled shifts, including weekends and on-call periods.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold an RD or LD certification from an accredited program.
  
  
• 
  Possess at least 1 year of relevant experience in clinical nutrition.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
  
• 
  Willingness to go above and beyond in patient care.
  
  
• 
  Able to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  
  
• 
  Comfortable working with electronic medical records and basic medical equipment.
